Chapter 705 - 703: Bring It On [5th Update]

Liam listened to the request from the wedding party blocking the door, took a deep breath, turned around, and looked at Elijah next to him, pointing at him and said, "Elijah, you didn’t keep your wife in check, now I have to write a 5000-word confession, all because she has such a good memory.""Boss, in life, you gotta pay up at some point." Elijah said with a cheeky smile.

Christopher and the others listened on from the side, utterly puzzled, having not gotten the joke. Elijah immediately explained, "When the Boss was the principal, he punished Miss Five to write a 5000-word review, and even made her read it out loud in every class."

"Damn, Liam, you’re quite the devil, treating your wife like that."

"Third Brother, you’re getting what you deserve. Elijah’s right, in life, you gotta pay up at some point. This karmic debt, you’re paying it today."

"Liam, you’re such a jerk! If I were Maya, I’d make you kneel on the remote and change the channel after each slap."

"Have you all betrayed me? Don’t forget you’re here to help me welcome the bride." Liam was ’agitated’ by this group of disloyal friends, who seemed less about welcoming the bride and more about adding fuel to the fire just to make things harder for him.

"Young Master, you better hurry, they’re live streaming in the bridal chamber!"

Liam was on the verge of tears, realizing there’s truth in the old saying, in life, you gotta pay up at some point.

He took a deep breath, gazed at the villa, and shouted toward Maya’s bedroom, "Honey, I was wrong. Tonight, I’ll willingly kneel as punishment. I miss you. Please get these people to let me in."

In Maya’s room, she watched the live stream showing the unusual side of Young Master Three, laughing herself into stitches.

Maya looked at Liam in the streaming video, seeing him in his handsome red wedding attire, her eyes filled with hearts, pouting her lips and reaching towards the TV screen meekly saying, "Third Brother, you still need to say your love confession to me!"

Maya recalled past events, the playful antics between her and Liam, smiling brightly, feeling like she had known Liam forever, almost like it was something from a past life, as if she knew him since birth.

Outside the villa, everyone kept egging Liam on, demanding he confess his love. Though his words spoke of pleading, inside Liam was already considering how to declare his love to Maya.

Shortly after, he sent Maya a video on his phone, smiling radiantly, saying, "Honey, I love you! Marrying you is my life’s greatest happiness; despite the ups and downs between us, I’m grateful we’ve made it through. In the days ahead, I’ll love you with all my heart. To me, you’re the most beautiful, lovable, and intelligent woman. I’ll take you to every corner of the world, adding to our love memories... Maya, recognizing you was my smartest decision, marrying you was the right one, and the happiest thing is to wake up each day with you asleep in my arms. Maya, I love you! Let’s grow old together!"

Liam followed through with everyone’s request, expressing his love to Maya, without anyone counting the words; yet everyone saw his sincerity and love for Maya, and many girls were moved to tears.

Inside the room, Maya’s makeup was ruined by her tears, and the makeup artist comforted her while wiping her tears, saying, "Madam, it’s your big day, don’t cry! You should feel joyous."

Maya sobbed, saying, "I’m crying tears of joy; that jerk Liam moved me, saying he’s not romantic but made me sweetly fall for him."

"Yes, yes, Young Master Three really knows how to speak romantic words. But let’s not cry now; I’ll fix your makeup. He’ll soon come to pick you up."

Sure enough, after Liam’s confession, everyone stopped making trouble and started shouting, "Young Master Three, toss those red envelopes! Once the envelopes are here, the doors will open."

Behind the open door, there were still two more doors to go, one was the villa door, and the other was Maya’s bedroom door.

"Christopher, Elijah, have them bring over the red envelopes." Liam loved handing out red envelopes, each one bringing him closer to Maya.

He hadn’t seen that girl for three whole days; Liam was going crazy missing her, wishing he could grow wings and fly over.

"Got it!" Christopher and Elijah answered in unison.

Subsequently, a few men dressed in ancient costumes came over with red boxes, filled with red envelopes.

Elijah adjusted the microphone by his ear and said, "Young Master Three has prepared ten million in red envelopes for everyone, open the door quickly after getting the envelopes."

As Elijah finished speaking, the wedding party outside began showering red envelopes like rain.

Inside the big door, people were joyously grabbing envelopes, their hands going numb from grabbing they could get from that ten million.

After spreading the red envelopes, the crowd blocking the door let the welcoming team through, drums and gongs sounded again, heating up the villa, fireworks echoing through the sky, while the girls in the bedroom moved from the windowsill to the doorway, blocking it.

At the second villa door, most were household staff and relatives; they didn’t challenge Liam much, asked him some questions, gave him some envelopes, and let him pass.

The third door was Maya’s bedroom, the study and bedroom together were less than forty square meters, yet it was packed with fifty to sixty girls.

Maya was already led back to her bedroom by the makeup artist, her head covered, quietly seated on the red bed, waiting for Liam to knock on the door and usher her back properly.

However, Liam and the others thought the bedroom door was too small, and the envelopes too thick to fit through; So Christopher and Asher had a large cart prepared, to take the wedding party directly to the study’s floor-to-ceiling window, the bedroom window tightly closed, curtains drawn, preventing any chance of entry.

Inside the room, a group of ladies blocked the study window, negotiating and making things difficult for the wedding party outside.

On top of the safe vehicle with barriers, there was only a gap of twenty to thirty centimeters between the wedding party and the bride’s party.

But no one pushed the girls, instead tossing envelopes and fulfilling their requests simultaneously.

By the window, Ella, Sophia, Noah, and Seven took the lead cheerfully, looking at the handsome boys on the opposite side while laughing uncontrollably.

Seven beamed and said, "Third Brother, today we’ll really make things hard for you!"

"Bring it on." Liam felt extremely good, happily playing along with everyone’s antics.

"Young Master Three, the bride says she wants to hear you sing." A girl in the crowd suggested.

Rumor has it that Young Master Three was someone who would rather die than sing, so today they planned to fully enjoy the unseen side of Liam.

"Asher and Hudson will sing, they have good voices." Though singing put Liam in a bind, he still wore a smile.

"Young Master Three, it’s your wedding day, you have to sing."

"They’re the wedding party; they’re singing on my behalf." Liam said.

"Principal, you’ve got to show some sincerity! Maya wants to hear you sing." Ella egged him on, and everyone joined in together.
